Episode 017: Turkey Tactics with Brian Shurmanek
Friday Mar 27, 2020
Friday Mar 27, 2020
In this episode I sit down with my old college roommate and good friend Brian Shurmanek. Brian is one of the best turkey hunters I've ever met and a wealth of knowledge. He has roughly 30 turkeys under his belt already and consistently fills his tag year in and year out.
Brian and I talk tactics from start to finish on how he approaches various situations to make him successful hunting turkeys. The podcast ended up getting a little long winded so we broke it down into two parts so keep an eye out for Part II.
If you would like to bounce some questions or talk with Brian you can contact him through IG @bshurmanek he will be more than happy to answer any of your questions and wants to be famous.
If you wouldn't mind giving us a rating wherever you listen to your podcasts we would greatly appreciate it and let us know what you think and where we can improve.
Thanks everyone and stay safe!

Episode 015: Bow Tuning with Chris Greg
Tuesday Mar 17, 2020
Tuesday Mar 17, 2020
In this episode Chris and I get on the pod to talk bow tuning. I would consider myself a novice when it comes to bow tuning and know enough to be dangerous. However Chris is the man and has a background in statistics and engineering. We go over some of the processes like paper tuning, yoke tuning and arrow tuning. At the very least you as a bowhunter should understand the concept of paper tuning so you can get the maximum performance out of your equipment.
If you have any questions for Chris you can get ahold of him on FB chrisgregk or on IG at fletchedup
As always you can get ahold of us for the Pod via email at toren@cervicide.com for questions, podcast topics you would like to hear or anything else.

In this episode Jimmy and I sit down and talk about some of the changes that are coming to Cervicide. Providing Hunters with education that is based on the real world, that is our goal and here at Cervicide we will do that for you.
We also discuss some of our members experiences as hunters and how they've grown as well as listener questions. We recorded this podcast live on our Fieldstaff Forum.

What is Cervicide?
We aren’t your traditional program that sends gear and asks for reviews. We’re here for you and to build a community that supports you and all hunters alike. We provide not just a great community that has been around since 2011 with members in all 50 states, but a ton of other perks and opportunities.
We have expert members who will link up with newer hunters to walk alongside them and mentor them on hunts all across the nation. Our Hunt Link program gives the average hunter opportunity to hunt new game and states without shelling out big dollars for a hunting lease.
Whether you want to teach or learn, we have something for you. Those who are content producers can earn payouts. Those who are experienced hunters are welcome to hop on our podcast or webinars. Newer hunters have access to knowledge of first-hand experienced hunters from all states. Guides and established companies can post their content/products for other hunters to support small businesses.
Our program unites hunters through Meat-Ups™, Hunt Link™, podcast, Cervicide App, private Facebook group, newsletter, and local events.
