In other words are we setting up future hunters for failure? Is social media and large hunting companies in this industry providing accurate and adequate information for new people to get into this sport we as hunters love?

Episode 089: The influence of Social Media on Hunting in America
Monday Jul 12, 2021
Monday Jul 12, 2021
In this podcast Mag joins me to discuss the influence social media is having on hunting. Mag is an administrator for the "Hunting PA Closed Group" AKA Hunting PA. This group is the largest Facebook Group that covers Pennsylvania Hunting at it's peak it had over 100,000 followers. That was until Facebook flagged the group for discussions that occurred on the page that were deemed against the "guidelines". Instead of just being sent to Facebook jail the group was deleted and they are now having to rebuild their entire community that they started back in the early 2000s.
Be sure to give Hunting PA a follow and let's build this group back up to over 100,000 members.

What is Cervicide?
We aren’t your traditional program that sends gear and asks for reviews. We’re here for you and to build a community that supports you and all hunters alike. We provide not just a great community that has been around since 2011 with members in all 50 states, but a ton of other perks and opportunities.
We have expert members who will link up with newer hunters to walk alongside them and mentor them on hunts all across the nation. Our Hunt Link program gives the average hunter opportunity to hunt new game and states without shelling out big dollars for a hunting lease.
Whether you want to teach or learn, we have something for you. Those who are content producers can earn payouts. Those who are experienced hunters are welcome to hop on our podcast or webinars. Newer hunters have access to knowledge of first-hand experienced hunters from all states. Guides and established companies can post their content/products for other hunters to support small businesses.
Our program unites hunters through Meat-Ups™, Hunt Link™, podcast, Cervicide App, private Facebook group, newsletter, and local events.
